SUPPORTING OUR YOUTH'S
MENTAL HEALTH
DURING COVID-19

Youth Three Sixty acknowledges the challenging time that young people in our community
and our world are currently facing due to COVID-19. There is a need for social connection,
friendship and support now more than ever, as people experience these uncertain times.

We are committed to continuing to support young people and enabling mentoring matches
through our Big Brothers Big Sisters programs to remain connected. To ensure that the
mentoring relationships can continue, we will be setting up our matches on our safe, secure,
custom built online mentoring platform – OURSPACE – where all our staff and volunteers have
been set up to continue their work remotely from home, ensuring our programs can continue
for as long as possible during this troubled time.

When so many of us are facing fear and physical isolation, it is essential that we find ways
to connect with others and share our expertise in long term mentoring programs. We must
remind ourselves that we’re part of a greater community, and that our greater purpose is to
emerge from this crisis with the tools to build a better world.
